Sure there will be partys at work and relatives inviting you to dinner....

What we do is go to all the partys and dinners and never tell anyone that you are on a "diet"....

Eat a little of everything you want.... The next day, go back to you healthy lifestyle diet...

It's all about nutrition.... Just choose what's better for your body...

We make choices everyday....

If someone notice that you have lost weight or have more energy... Just say I am eating healthier these days...

Why Is Nutrition So Important When Losing Weight?

Hello And Welcome...

DAVE CHRISTIANA

NUTRITION HEALTH & WELLNESS

I appreciate and commend you on taking an interest in your body's health when your looking to lose weight....

Most people only care about losing weight and care nothing about what it does to their body. Every cell in your body reacts to what you feed your body... Starve your body, starve your cells... If cells don't reproduce correctly, bad things happen... It is as simple as that...

No one can make you take on a nutritional weight loss progam.... This is totally up to you... Your decision...

It's all about "Nutrition Health & Wellness"!

Can you make this decision and stick with it? Your body's health depends on your choice...
Losing weight is a great idea if you are over weight or obese at this time.... Being over weight only makes it harder for your body to contened with staying healthy.

If you have any health conditions, I recomend you consult with your doctor once you choose a healthy nutritional weight loss program to follow... I'm sure he will be pleased to see that your are serious about doing somthing about your weight and health..

I will mention this first.... You must have the right mind set to stick with any nutritional weight  loss program...

What is the right mind set? " I am doing what ever it takes to lose weight now"... Write this down and read it, and repeat it out loud over and over until you totally believe it...  The words " I Can't " will try and stop you... Your friends will be eating everything they can in front of you.... If they really wanted to help you, they would not do this to you... Be prepared to face these challanges...
Find someone else or group of people that are interested in Nutrition. Health and Wellness Lifestyle and support each other.... That's the best advise I can give you....

"Find Support"
Without support you will probably slide back to your old habit...

 My Story

My story happened over 11 years ago at the age of 49.... I was overweight, unhealthy, and had no energy...  I was going down hill in health fast.... I had to do something about my health or die earlier than I should... (This is what motevated me to get the right mind set and keep it.) This was my "why"...

A person I worked with, told me to study and learn about natural nutritional foods, supplements and herbs to get on the road back to health....

I had stomach and intestinal problems that had me in pain every day at that time... As you can see, losing weight was only one of my problems... I weighed 214 lbs. at that time... After several months of sticking with my new healthy nutritional eating and supplementing I got down to 165 lbs.... Also my stomach and intestinal pains problesms diminished...

Basicly, my prior eating, drinking, and lack of exercise was the number 1 reason for my poor health...  I appreciate and feel very lucky I met someone that shared nutrition for health information with me...
I'm 62 years old this year, on no drugs for the last 11 years and my weight stays between 165 and 170... Only because of the mind set I developed 11 years ago...  If I can do this, anyone can do it...

What also helped, was that my wife joined me in lossing weight at the same time... If your spouse or close friend joins you in a healthy nutritional weight loss program, it helps both of you stick with it... You both help to support each other... Your not doing it alone..

You can now make the choice to chose a nutritional wellness lifestyle too...

Nutrition, Health & Wellness

Once you have made up your mind and totally believe you can stick with your plan, " I will do what ever it takes to loss weight now"... Now it is time to talk about a plan for you...

Basic Healthy Weight Loss:

If you have any health conditions at this time please consult with your doctor about the healthy weight loss plan you decide to do..
Basicly weight loss is accomplish by burning more calories than you consume... Sounds pretty simple..

Your eating and lack of physical exercise habits are keeping you over weight.

Ok, first thing to do is identify your daily habits.. This is where the work starts... You can do this..

1. Write down every thing you eat each day for 7 days...

2. Write down every physical exercise you do for a week...

Once this is done you will have all of the data you need to make an educated decision on where to make changes in your daily routine.

Remember my wife and I only incorporated walking into our daily schedule as our exercise... Walking at a steady pace for 1hr. a day will burn about 500 calories... On the weekend we walked 1 hr. in the morning and 1 hr in the evening in good weather.. That's the most exercise we did...

3. Normaly men can eat more and still lose weight than a women can.. No diet should go below 1,200 calories a day... It's not safe to go below this amount....

4. Now we are getting to the Nutrition Stuff....

Basicly you will need to consume high quality nutritonal foods and supplements with low calories...

Water, Minerals, Vitamins, Protein, Omega 3s fatty acids, Vegetables, Fruits, Whole Grain Breads and Cereals...

Water...Clean. No sugar drinks like Soda of any kind. Diet soda is bad.. The fake sugar does more harm than good. Also soda is acidic which makes your body acidic which desieses love to propogate in.. ( This is a whole bad nutrition subject in itself).

Water and green tea is what we recomend to drink... Drink alot of water each day. Hydration is very important... (form a water drinking habit)

Minerals... Supplement (food today does not have enough)

Vitamins... Supplement (food today does not have enough)

Emzynes... Supplement (helps break down food for digestion)

Protein... Soy, Chicken, Turkey, Tuna fish, are best, Wild Salmon, and Other very Lean Meats only are secound choices...

Omega 3 fatty acids... Supplement with high quality fish oil capsules, use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, flax seed.... Omega 3 fatty acids are important to every part of your body..

Vegetables.. Spinach #1, organic leaf lettuce, most other vegatables with colors, ( Colors are very important phytonutrients). Vegetables also provide the fiber you need daily...

Fruits... Blueberrys are my favorite antioxidant, Strawberrys and all other berrys are great.. Tomatoes, Apples, and most other fruits of color...

Ok, I think this gives you the basic foods to consume to lose weight... Eating  healthy and supplementing...

Remember your welcome to email me with any questions you may have.

What Is Good Nutrition For Your Health?

Welcome Back...

It's a New Day  of getting healthier....

Today's question is "What is good nutrition for your health"?

Good nutrition gives your body's cells the required building materials to grow and stay healthy...

Bad nutrition takes away some or all of the required materials to grow and stay healthy...

Every day you make choices on what to eat... Which nutrition do you choose? Which one should you choose?

If you want to improve your health, start taking control of what you are eating and drinking...
_________________________________________
If you can't take control... Get help with it... Get involved with other people that do have control... Doing it by yourself is possible, but it is a lot easier with company.... A spouse or friend maybe... An online group or club that have regular meetings...
Be around people that care as much as or more than you do about becoming and staying healthy... It does help...
____________________________________________

Good nutrition is basicly a balance of water, fiber, carbs, protein, vitimins, minerals and phytonutrients... ( yes even colors are important building materials)

Bad nutrition is to much of one and not enough of the other... Also over processed foods, sugars, all soda pops, white flour products and faty meats... Which of these can you eliminate from your diet?

Next question is where to start once you get past all of the excuses why you can't.. (sorry but that had to be said)....
Personally I had to stop making excuses over 11 years ago... or I should say I was forced to make the choice to change the way I eat or die early...

1st thing to do is to get a small note pad and write down everything you eat and how much you eat for a full 7 days... If you do this you will have some data to look at... Then see where you need to make changes...

Have a great day and I will talk with you soon in my next post...

Why Is Nutrition Important For Your Healh

What a great question... Why Is Nutrition Important For Your Health?

You would think, everyone would know that they must take in the right balanced of food each day to grow and stay healhty...

That is not the case as you know... Being over weight, over stressed is pretty much accepted today as normal...

Pretty sad isn't it.. Where I work there are signs and posters up everywhere.... on how important maintaining good nutrition is to your health and overall wellness...

From what I am seeing, that most of my fellow workers take little or no interest in even reading or taking the time to even think about good nutrition to stay healthy...

Ok, I got that off my chest...

Where are you at on the question of "Why is nutrition important for your health"?

You must have a reason for looking for more information on nutrition, health and wellness... Their relationship to each other is everything...

Nutrition is the fuel that keeps your body healthy.... If you put in bad nutrition your body will become unhealthy...

It is that simple... Better nutrition = better health and wellness...

Ok, now that I have made my point here... Lets, ask some more questions...

What is better nutrition? What is bad nutrition?

Where do you find good nutrition?

I will answer these question in my next post...
